Tea is for Tuesday – Weekly Recipe #5

Hey! Sorry about the delay! I appreciate you guys in understanding I wasn’t feeling so hot to finish up the post and get this out on time. Usually my tea posts are ready and scheduled over the weekend at the latest. It’s just been a bit crazy though.

So without anymore waiting I have a blend I saw on a site a while back and copied it down. I’m a huge Earl Grey fan and just wanted to share this! Now Earl Grey can be enjoyed alone or accompanied with other herbs to create an even more divine taste. With this blend it’s all about vanilla and cornflower.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Earl Grey tea
  • 2 tablespoons cornflower (Centaurea cyanus)
  • 1 vanilla bean, chopped up finely

Combine all the ingredients together.

To brew:

Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 8 oz of hot water. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain and enjoy as is or with milk, cream, honey or sugar.

Pair this with some cookies, tea biscuits, or pastries along with your favorite book and you’ve got a perfect Sunday afternoon!

Tell me what you think and how you drank it!

Now, the best part – Enjoy!!!
